STRATEGIC ASPECTS OF COMPETITIVENESS MANAGEMENT IN THE FOREIGN ECONOMIC ACTIVITIES OF INDUSTRIAL ENTERPRISES

Abstract

The importance of developing a mechanism for managing the competitiveness of an enterprise in the context of increasing the efficiency of financial, economic and foreign economic activity is studied. The need for the formation and implementation of a competitive strategy of an industrial enterprise in the direction of expanding foreign markets and forming new competitive advantages is proven. Approaches to determining the strategic management of the competitiveness of an enterprise and aspects of influencing its effectiveness are analyzed. Problematic aspects in managing competitiveness in foreign economic activity of industrial enterprises and the main problems in ensuring and increasing the competitiveness of products are identified. The goal of most industrial enterprises is the formation and implementation of relevant development strategies, including strategies for increasing competitiveness in foreign and domestic markets of products. Strategic factors that affect the effectiveness of the competitiveness management system in foreign economic activity of domestic industrial enterprises are characterized. Approaches to choosing successful strategic directions for the development of financial and economic activity are considered, in particular in the direction of increasing competitiveness in foreign economic activity of industrial enterprises. The stages of developing a strategy for increasing competitiveness in the foreign economic activity of an enterprise are detailed, which are based on determining the goal, directions for forming competitive advantages, strategic vectors of competitive development, in-depth assessment of activity parameters and internal and external factors of influence. Strategic aspects of successful competitiveness management in the foreign economic activities of industrial enterprises should be based on improving strategic management using the latest methods, approaches, and tools. The relationship between the strategy for increasing competitiveness in the foreign economic activity of an enterprise and its strategic guidelines of the overall development strategy is substantiated.
