DIAGNOSTICS SYSTEM AS a TOOL FOR ENSURING SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF AN ENTERPRISE
Abstract
The article examines the essence and role of the enterprise diagnostics system as a key tool for ensuring sustainable development in modern economic conditions. It is substantiated that effective diagnostics of enterprise activity serves as a fundamental basis for making informed managerial decisions aimed at increasing competitiveness, improving resource efficiency, and achieving long-term stability. The study highlights the importance of integrating economic, social, and environmental components into the overall management system of an enterprise in accordance with the principles of sustainable development. The purpose of the article is to investigate the theoretical foundations and practical aspects of forming an enterprise diagnostics system as an instrument for ensuring sustainable development. The methodological basis of the study includes general scientific and special research methods, such as analysis and synthesis, systematization, comparative analysis, and a systems approach. These methods made it possible to comprehensively assess the enterprise diagnostics system, identify its key elements, and justify its importance in achieving sustainable development goals. The paper analyzes the main areas of enterprise diagnostics, including financial, production, organizational, marketing, and socio-environmental aspects, which together provide a comprehensive evaluation of enterprise performance. Special attention is paid to the role of digital technologies and information systems in enhancing the accuracy, efficiency, and analytical capabilities of diagnostics. The use of modern tools such as big data analytics and automated management systems contributes to the transition from reactive to proactive management. It is concluded that the implementation of an integrated diagnostics system, aligned with sustainable development principles, enables enterprises to identify internal reserves, minimize risks, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen their competitive position in the market. Such an approach ensures adaptability to external changes and supports long-term sustainable growth.
