FINANCIAL SECURITY OF JSC “NNEGC “ENERGOATOM”: ANALYSIS AND DIRECTIONS FOR STRENGTHENING
Abstract
The article examines theoretical and applied aspects of ensuring enterprise financial security under modern economic conditions. Scientific approaches to defining financial security are generalized as a multidimensional economic category that reflects the level of protection of financial interests and the ability of an enterprise to ensure stable functioning and long-term development. It is substantiated that financial security is an integral component of economic security and is formed under the influence of internal and external factors, including macroeconomic instability, state regulation, financial risks, and the effectiveness of management decisions. A comprehensive assessment of the financial security of JSC “NNEGC Energoatom” for 2021–2025 is carried out based on key indicators of liquidity, solvency, financial stability, and profitability. The results show that the financial condition of the enterprise is characterized by uneven dynamics: alongside improvements in financial stability and gradual recovery of profitability, there is a significant deterioration in liquidity, indicating the presence of systemic risks and limited ability to meet current obligations. Key factors affecting financial security are identified, including high capital intensity, dependence on state tariff regulation, significant investment needs, unstable cash flows, and the impact of wartime conditions. It is determined that investment activity, while serving as a basis for strategic development, simultaneously increases financial burden and liquidity risks. The study proposes priority directions for strengthening financial security, including diversification of funding sources, improvement of financial management efficiency, enhancement of tariff policy, development of risk management systems, and implementation of innovative approaches. The implementation of these measures will contribute to improving financial stability and ensuring sustainable enterprise development.
