METHODOLOGICAL FOUNDATIONS OF RESOURCE PLANNING FOR ENTERPRISE DIGITALIZATION
Abstract
The article examines the theoretical and methodological aspects of planning resource support for enterprise digitalization in the context of the active development of the digital economy, increasing competition, and the transformation of approaches to business process management at both national and international levels. It is substantiated that the digitalization of modern enterprises serves not only as a tool for technological improvement but also as a strategic direction for ensuring long-term competitiveness, economic resilience, and the adaptability of business entities to changes in the external environment. The author defines the economic essence of resource support for enterprise digitalization as a comprehensive system of the formation, mobilization, allocation, and efficient utilization of resources required for the implementation of digital technologies in the production, managerial, financial, and communication activities of an enterprise. In the course of the research, the main structural components of resource support for digitalization were systematized, including financial, human, technological, informational, and organizational-managerial resources. It has been proven that the effectiveness of implementing digital initiatives largely depends on the level of balance between these resource components, the quality of their planning, and the enterprise’s ability to adapt internal processes to new digital requirements. The author has established that the formation of resource volumes, their structure, and the efficiency of their utilization are influenced by the financial and economic condition of the enterprise, the level of technological readiness, human capital potential, industry-specific characteristics, the level of business digital maturity, and the quality of strategic management. Based on the research findings, a methodological approach to planning resource support for enterprise digitalization has been developed, which is based on the integration of strategic diagnostics, identification of digital development goals, assessment of resource potential, forecasting of resource requirements, optimization of their structure, and subsequent monitoring of utilization efficiency.
