INFLUENCE OF THE RECIPIENT COMPOSITION OF NATURAL TOILET SOAP ON THE FORMATION OF ITS PROPERTIES

Abstract

The article examines the beneficial effects and benefits of natural soap for humans, what useful or healing properties soap actually has, and what is just a marketing ploy. The characteristics of the ingredients of natural soap are given, because choosing those hygiene products that contain the least amount of dangerous substances (or, in the best case, do not contain them at all) becomes a rather urgent task for the consumer. It is established that soap manufacturers compete with each other and try to produce new unique types of soap in order to reach as many consumers as possible and satisfy their needs as much as possible. This sometimes leads to the fact that it is difficult for the consumer to make a choice in favor of one or another product. The importance of observing the composition of children's soap, which must necessarily meet the requirements of regulatory documents, is emphasized. In addition, it has been established that soap can also have a negative effect on the skin. Together with dirt, it destroys fat cells, which have a hydrolipidic film that retains moisture in the deep layers of the skin. As a result, it loses its natural protection, moisture evaporates from it, and bacteria begin to multiply on the surface. Constant use of soap can cause the death of epidermal cells, although normal skin has the ability to quickly restore its natural layer. Frequent use of soap disrupts this process. It has been established how the alkaline index affects the skin, because it is under the influence of alkali that the skin loses its protective barrier in the form of sebum, which causes skin irritation and excessive drying. Therefore, it was the discovery of certain disadvantages of solid soap and its effect on the skin that led to the development of liquid soap. The article notes the advantages and beneficial effects of liquid soap on the skin, its cosmetic and therapeutic properties. At the same time, it was analyzed how safe this tool is, because ordinary liquid soap often contains preservatives, aggressive surfactants, artificial flavors and other harmful compounds. It has been found that liquid soap is diluted, its pH is closer to neutral, which is why it does not dry the skin. However, to prevent the development of bacteria, preservatives are added to soap. Substances such as isothiazolinone (irritant to the skin), triclosan (proven harm to animals) and even compounds that release very dangerous formaldehyde in the process of decomposition can be used as preservatives.
