Abstract

The purpose of this article is to analyze and study the role of innovations in the context of the Russian-Ukrainian war in order to determine their strategic importance and opportunities for improving the efficiency of the Ukrainian defense industry. The article examines the key role of innovations in ensuring national security and strategic development of the Ukrainian defense industry in the context of the Russian-Ukrainian war. The study focuses on high-tech solutions in the defense industry and their role in ensuring competitiveness and efficiency. The article analyzes successful initiatives such as the modernization of drones and the use of artificial intelligence. The article emphasizes the importance of cooperation with NATO, external support, and the creation of a defense technology cluster for the innovation of Ukraine's defense industry. It emphasizes the importance of continuing to invest in innovation, developing partnerships and overcoming financial challenges to ensure the impact of Ukrainian MilitaryTech solutions on the global military-technical market. The study emphasizes the special importance of defense technology innovations and the introduction of high-tech weapons in Ukraine. In particular, the modernization of outdated drones and their ability to attack military targets at long range indicate a high level of innovation in the Ukrainian defense industry. Particular emphasis is placed on the importance of a reliable supply chain in the defense industry and addressing the problems associated with dependence on foreign resources. The article identifies important aspects to support the development of defense technology innovations, such as integration and interoperability of various military systems and platforms. Cooperation between military structures and technology companies, initiatives to simplify procedures, and modernization of defense industry enterprises are key aspects of successful development of defense technology innovations in Ukraine. The article examines the possibility for Ukraine to become a testing ground for defense technology development and explores the interaction of the state defense system with small developers, looking at grant opportunities for military startups.
