CHALLENGES AND STRATEGIES OF HUMAN CAPITAL MANAGEMENT OF ENTERPRISES UNDER THE CONDITIONS OF LABOUR MARKET DIGITALIZATION
Abstract
The article is devoted to the analysis of challenges and strategies of human capital management of enterprises under the conditions of labor market digitalization in Ukraine. It is substantiated that the digitalization of the economy, the spread of automation, digital platforms, and artificial intelligence tools lead to structural changes in labor demand, transformation of job content, and increasing requirements for the quality of human capital. It is shown that under contemporary conditions human capital acts as a key factor in ensuring enterprise competitiveness, innovative development, and financial sustainability. Special attention is paid to the specific features of labor market digital transformation in Ukraine, which are complicated by the consequences of the war, demographic losses, labor shortages, uneven development of digital infrastructure, and limited access of enterprises to financial resources. It is noted that these factors intensify the risks of structural imbalances in the labor market and exacerbate the problem of mismatch between employers’ needs and the existing competencies of the workforce. The key challenges of human capital management are identified, including the deficit of digital competencies, the low level of adoption of artificial intelligence tools, cybersecurity threats, and the insufficient adaptation of HR strategies to flexible forms of employment and digital formats of work organization. The article systematizes the main strategies of human capital management of enterprises under labor market digitalization, including strategies for the development of employees’ digital competencies, strategies for the digitalization of HR processes, strategies for the implementation of flexible employment models, the integration of artificial intelligence into managerial decision-making, as well as talent attraction and retention strategies. Human capital management strategies under the conditions of labor market digital transformation are comprehensive in nature and should be implemented in close interrelation. It is proven that the integrated implementation of these strategies contributes to increasing enterprises’ adaptability to changes in the external environment and to the effective utilization of human capital potential.
